Post Race

Meal

After each race, we will be providing racers with a post-race meal (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), including hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, soup, chips, cookies, and cold and hot drinks; along with standard ultra fare. Please fill up, as many of the food is perishable and can not be donated after the race - the more you eat the less we waste!

We also highly recommend that you stop by Marathon Pizzeria on your way home. Marathon Pizzeria is owned by RDs Eric and Kelly Barten and they will offer Hagg Lake finishers a 50% off discount just by showing your bib. You can call them from the intersection of Highway 47 and Highway 8 to place your order - you can get a take and bake or pick it up ready to eat! Their number is 503.848.3767. Check out their menu here.

Drawing

In addition, there will be a fun drawing for great prizes from all of our fabulous sponsors! All participants have a chance to win raffle prizes. In order to enter the raffle, it is important that you check in with the registration table even if you have already picked up your packet. After the race starts, we will draw bib numbers and post winners on a board. Just check the board after the race, and if your bib number is listed, check in at the prize table to claim your prize.

Awards

Awards will be presented at the end of each race as the finishers complete their race. Because of the wide range of finish times and the usually inclement weather, we do not have an awards ceremony.

The 25K will award age group medals to the first male and female finishers in each of the following divisions. (There are no age group medals for the 50k):
  • 0-19
  • 45-49
  • 20-24
  • 50-54
  • 25-29
  • 55-59
  • 30-34
  • 60-64
  • 35-39
  • 65-69
  • 40-44
  • 70+

In addition, both the 25K and 50K will present awards to the top three male and female finishers as well as the top male and female masters (40+) runners.

Mid-Pack Awards will be presented at the end of each race and will be based on last year’s finishing times, which will be announced after this year’s race (to prevent cheating!) and will be awarded to closest male and female to the mid-pack time.
